Ridgebury, PA:  The angels came for Bill on October 26, 2014. Bill leaves behind his devoted wife of 34 years Linda Nichols Folkers, his two sons who are his pride and joy, James Folkers (Sheena) and Nicholas Folkers and his precious grandchildren (Jim’s) Abby and Aaron Folkers.  Bill is also survived by his loving mother Clara Zolli Grubb, brother Kenneth Folkers, nephew Kyle Folkers, aunt Barbara Zolli, aunt Dr. Christine Zolli, cousin Dana Zolli, mother/father in-law Ralph and Joann Nichols, sisters-in-law Sherry (Vern) Cooper, Cindi (Chris) Norton, Sue (Rick) Williams and Joy (Dan) Cooke.  Bill was predeceased by his dad Alex Grubb, uncle Dr. James Zolli, grandmother Vilma Delathauwer and stepbrother Curtis Grubb. Bill will be remembered for his talent in antique clock restoration, skills as an appliance technician, love of traveling the auction circuit, golfing, boating, RC planes and Chinese food, his wit and tremendous love for family. Please join us to honor his life on Saturday, November 1, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 pm at the Robert’s Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street, Wellsburg, New York. A short service will follow the calling hours. Bill received exceptional care during his stay at the University of Rochester Strong Memorial Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The National Prion Disease Pathology Surveillance Center, c/o Andrea Webb, 2085 Adelbert Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44106 to fund research for the Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease.
