Lois M. (Fortran) Langdon Soprano, 85, of the Wilawana Road in Chemung, NY passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at home surrounded by her family. Lois was born on July 15, 1932 in Plainfield, NJ, daughter of the late Richard and Ada (Whipple) Fortran. She was a seamstress, working in the sewing room at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center until her retirement. Lois enjoyed flowers, watching birds, and the beach, especially Marathon and the Florida Keys.

Lois is survived by her children: Patrice (Welchie) Patterson of Sundance, WY, James (Gretchen) Langdon and Michael Langdon, both of Chemung, NY, her stepchildren: Mary Jo (Dick) Hatch, Cathy (Tom) Jordan, and Bill (Cathy) Soprano, her grandchildren: Jesse (Toby) Connally, Welchie James Patterson, Ryann Langdon, Brett (Kate) Langdon, and Dana Langdon, her step-grandchildren: Scott (Leisha) Hatch, Emily Jordan, Julie (Greg) Borsz, Kelly Soprano, and Joseph Soprano, her three great grandchildren: Brylee, Dane, and Paxton Connally, her step great grandchildren: Jordan, Logan, and Landon Hatch, Anna and Lucas Borsz, her sister Jeanette Harper of Deland, FL, several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and best friends Barb Kinsley and Pat Burt. Lois was preceded in death by her parents and her husbands: James Langdon and Joseph Soprano.

Family and friends are welcome to call from 1:00-3:00 pm on Friday, January 26, 2018 at the Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street Wellsburg, NY. The memorial service to honor Lois’ life will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, January 26th at the funeral home with Rev. Sid McCrorey officiating. The burial will be private in Hanlon Hill Cemetery.
