Richard D. Benjamin

Richard D. Benjamin, Age 71, of Pine City, NY, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Rich was born May 6, 1946 in Elmira, NY son of the late Alma (Haner) DeHaas. Rich was a Veteran of the US Navy and served from 1965 to 1969 aboard the USS Cascade during the Vietnam War. He was retired from Superior Trucking in Port Gibson, NY and prior to that worked for Morse Chain in Ithaca, NY. He and the late Karen E. (Williams) Benjamin were married in 1997 and enjoyed 16 years together prior to her passing on October 15, 2013. In his spare time Rich enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

To honor Rich’s wishes services will be held at the convenience of his family. Interment will be in Bath National Cemetery, Bath, New York.
