Robin A. (Hoose) Nero, Age 56, of Bentley Creek, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the Robert Packer Hospital. Robin was born January 10, 1961 in Elmira, NY daughter of the late Theodore and Beatrice (Hill) Hoose. She was a graduate of SRU high school and was married to Steven Nero in 1999. She was employed by the Star Gazette and the Sayre Morning Times as a rural carrier for 35 years. She also worked in the transportation department for the Elmira City School District for 10 years prior to retirement. She was associated with the Bentley Creek Baptist Church. Robin had a love for animals and her world evolved around her loving family.

Surviving are her husband Steven Nero, two daughters, Samantha Leonard, Crystal (Edward) Adams all of Bentley Creek, two sons, Matthew (Bridget) Leonard of Towanda and Rodney Nero of Bentley Creek, stepsons, Steve (Jessica) Nero of Maryland, Frank (Amy) Nero of Bentley Creek, grandchildren, Trinity, Madison and Landon Adams, Tanner, Emma Leonard, step-grandchildren, Kolby, Skyler Nero, Jordan, Lauren Nero, a sister and brother-in-law, Tammy (Robert) Steele of Mechanicsburg, brother-in-law, Henry (Cheryl) Blow of Duncannon, several nieces, nephews and friends.

Robin was predeceased by her parents and her sister Cheryl Byerly.

Family and friends are invited to her memorial service that will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, August 19, 2017 at the Bentley Creek Baptist Church, 13255 Berwick Turnpike, Gillett, PA  with Reverend James Ellis officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street, Wellsburg, NY 14894.
