Thomas Norconk Obituary

Thomas G. Norconk, 69, of Ridgebury Township passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018 at home.

He is survived by his wife Sandra K (Ervay) Norconk , with whom he celebrated 42 years of marriage this past December 24th. Tom was born in Waverly, NY to Gerald Norconk and Rosmary (Chandler) Norconk. After graduating from Waverly High School he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served in the Vietnam War. In 1970 Tom became a union laborer and member of Laborers Local #1358. From 2001 to 2010 when he retired he was the business manager/ business agent for local #1358/#785. He was a life member of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter # 803, the NRA and Unified Sportsmen of Pennsylvania. Tom enjoyed spending time with his family hunting, fishing and racing any thing from asphalt mods to karts at local short tracks.

Tom is survived by his wife, Sandy; his mother, Rosmary; his son, Jerry; his grandson, Christopher; his sister Brenda Parish of Dushore, PA and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald.

A celebration of Tom’s life will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to any local animal shelter or veterans organization.
