Warren L. Wilcox

Warren L. Wilcox, Age 86, of Comfort Hill Road, Wellsburg, NY passed away at home on Tuesday, July 2, 2018. Warren was born August 20, 1931 in Lebanon, NY son of the late Wilmer & Ruth (Morse) Wilcox. Following graduation from Troy High School he attended Lycoming College for a year and later at Elmira College where he studied psychology. Warren was the proprietor of a mobile home park in Pine Valley for many years and prior to that worked as a carpenter and also was involved with his family farm where he worked the farm with his father in Windfall, PA.

Survivors include two sisters and a brother-in-law,  Pauline & Bill Swingle of Canton, PA, and Sharon May of Canton, PA, nieces,  Donna & Gordon Corbin of Howes Run, PA, Jane & Larry Porter of Raleigh, N.C., Kathy & Michael Machmer of Granville Summit, PA, nephews, Robert & Linda Haflett  of Mifflintown, PA,  Stephen & Sherry May of Midlothian, VA,  David & Darlene Haflett of Munnsville, N.Y., his aunt Marjorie Morse Wright of Canton, PA, several grand and great-grand nieces and nephews, a special friend, Gregory Orright of Corning, NY.

Warren was predeceased by his parents, brother-in-law, Lynn May and several aunts and uncles.

It was Warren’s wishes that services are private and under the direction of the Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street, Wellsburg, NY 14894.
