Arthur K. Lattimer

Arthur Keith Lattimer “Art”, Age 50 of Gillett, PA went to be with his Lord on March 12, 2016. Art was born December 12, 1965 son of Linda & Donald Plouse, Sr. Art loved spending time at home with his loving parents and family.

Art worked as a security guard at Ingersoll Rand in Athens and P&C for twenty plus years and he enjoyed being a friend and helper at friends and family farms. Art had a love for God, family, friends and life. He loved riding four-wheelers, hunting, fishing and the great outdoors. Art had a big heart and would do anything for anyone fun loving personality and a love and affection for animals especially his dog Smoky. Art touched many lives with his love, courage, strength, fighting spirit and winning smile. Art was loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He fought a long hard 2 ½ year battle with cancer, he never complained and was always kind and had a smile for everyone.

Art dearly loved and was proud of his sons, Arthur K. Lattimer, III, George Lattimer, Derek Lattimer all of Gillett. He especially loved spending time with his precious grandchildren, Jordan Lattimer, Emily Lattimer both of Gillett and Jacob Brion of Sayre, beloved brother of Melinda Kelley (Doug Walters) of Sayre, Donald (Heidi) Plouse, Jr., of Covington, Jamie Plouse of Lockwood, NY, Nieces and nephews, Olivia Plouse of Covington, Sarah (Robert) Kerr of Waverly, Joshua Uhl of Sayre, Jeremy Kelley of Sayre, Charlsey and Robby Walters of Sayre, beloved great niece and nephew, Autumn and Nathanial Kerr, Art is the grandson of the late Arthur A. & Sarah Lattimer whom Art dearly loved, he lived next door to them and had many special memories of camping, holidays and all the special time he spent with them. Paternal grandparents are the late Leroy & Margaret Plouse. Survivors also include his aunts and uncles, Grace (Tom) Brush, Sandy (Tom) Slaght, Linda Janowsky, Marion Clark, Albert Fuller, Grace Lee, Vine (Sally) Plouse, William (Brenda) Plouse, Sharyl Plouse, June Plouse, and Gen (Gary) Schrader.

In addition to his grandparents Art was predeceased by aunts and uncles, Dick Janowsky, Russell & Lucille Johnston, Virgil (Boo) & Dorothy DuVall, George & Shirley Miller, Fritz & Joyce Janowsky, Leroy Plouse, Richard Clark, Edie Frisbee, Clayton Lee, Robert Plouse, Ernest Plouse, Lousia & Alva Chandler, Beebe & Jennie Lattimer, Ernest Lattimer, Rosie & Albert Johnson and Chester Lattimer.

Family and friends are invited to call from 1 to 3 PM Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street, Wellsburg, NY 14894. His service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 3:00 PM. Interment will be in Hanlon Hill Cemetery, Ridgebury Township when weather permits.
