Barbara Ann Roth, Age 76, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Elderwoods, Waverly, NY. Barbara was born May 20, 1938 in Berwick, PA daughter of the late Andrew & Stella (Veshka) Horvat. She was a graduate of Berwick High School. Barbara was an employee of Woodbrook Adult Home in Elmira where she worked as an activities and crafts coordinator. For the most part she was a homemaker that loved spending time with her family especially with her loving grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoyed crafting, playing bingo and shopping.
Survivors include her three daughters and sons-in-law, Lori (Marty) South, Lynda (Daryl) Miller, Kim (Jeffery) Jones all of East Smithfield, her grandchildren, Shawn, Dustin, Krista and Dana Jones, Jamie South, Cody and Shane Miller, three great-grandchildren, Reece Day-Jones, Orion Lindeborn-South, Dahlia Jones, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Barbara was predeceased by her parents, a son John Roth, a brother, Andrew Horvat and a sister, Stella DiPippa.
Family and friends are invited to call from 5:30 to 6:30 PM Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at the Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street, Wellsburg, NY. Her service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 6:30 PM.
