Beverly Ann (Erle) Watts

Beverly Ann (Erle) Watts, 82, of Centerville, PA passed away on Friday, January 4, 2019 at the Sayre Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Sayre, PA surrounded by her family.  She was the loving wife of the late Kenneth Paul Watts who passed December 17, 2007. The couple married November 27, 1970 and had 37 happy years together.

Beverly was born January 26, 1936 in Marathon, NY, daughter of the late Willis and Grace (Washburn) Erle. She was employed by Cornell University and Remington Rand Corp. but mostly enjoyed being a homemaker and caring for her husband and family.  Beverly also enjoyed tending to her plants and flowers, doing word searches, and her true passion was bingo.

Beverly is survived by her children: Don Ennis of Southport, NY,  Darlene and Gerald Jayne of Bentley Creek, PA, Ken and Venus Watts of Bentley Creek, PA, Kevin and Julie Watts of Roseville, PA, Kimberley and William Chapin of Choctaw, OK, Keisha and Brian Lent of Bentley Creek, PA, several grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, her sisters Mary Ellen (Red) Goodwin of Big Pond, PA, and Kay Spencer of Towanda, PA along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ken, and her grandson Dylan Patrick Chapin, her brother William E. Erle, and her brother-in-law Don Spencer.

Family and friends are welcome to call from 4:00-5:00 PM on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at the Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street Wellsburg, NY. The funeral to honor Beverly’s life will be held at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, January 9th at the funeral home with Rev. Robert Wuethrich of Bentley Creek Wesleyan Church officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in Hanlon Hill Cemetery.
