Bonnie Jeanne Keller, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed peacefully at her home in Wilawana, NY, on May 29, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on November 10, 1944, in Elmira, NY, Bonnie lived a life filled with love, service, and devotion to her family and community. Bonnie dedicated her career to caring for others as a registered nurse, serving diligently at several area hospitals and facilities, including St. Joseph's Hospital, Arnot Ogden Medical Center, ELCOR, and Tioga County Nursing Facility. Her compassion and commitment were evident to all who knew her. Outside of her professional life, Bonnie found joy in her hobbies, including sewing and gardening, which she pursued with great passion. She cherished spending time with her dear friends from SRU High School, creating lasting memories over the years. Bonnie was also a devoted member of the Mosherville Baptist Bible Church, where she nurtured her faith and participated in church gatherings.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Walter M. "Mike" Keller, who stood by her side throughout their time together. She leaves behind a loving legacy in her children: Stephen Pesesky of Elmira, NY, Richard Pesesky of Corning, NY, Christopher (Jakki) Pesesky of Breesport, NY, Lisa (Rob) Abell of North Rose, NY, and James (Terry) Pesesky of Canton, PA. Bonnie was a proud grandmother to grandchildren: Erica, Stephen and Kayleigh, Nika (Dominique) and Gretta, Sam and Eddie, Cheyenne and Seneca, and two great-grandchildren, whose lives she touched deeply with her love and wisdom. Her surviving siblings include her brother Jan Keller of Erin, NY, and her sister Elaine (Butch) Miles of Arizona. Bonnie is also fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews, and many friends who will miss her greatly. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Jacob and Louisa (Bryan) Keller, her brothers Neal and David Keller, and her sister Beverly Davis.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mosherville Baptist Bible Church, 9914 Coryland Rd, Gillett, PA. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 PM, officiated by her pastor, Rev. Ted M.W. Rich. Services have been entrusted to Roberts Funeral Home, Inc., Wellsburg, NY.
