Brian K. Barr

Brian K. Barr, 64, of Elmira, NY, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2023 at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. He was the loving husband of Felicia A. (Hill) Barr. The couple married November 10, 1990 and had 32 happy years together.

Brian was born on October 5, 1958 in Elmira, NY, son of the late Grover B. and Jeane L. Guiles) Barr. He was a Heating and Air Conditioning Technician for Fix Rite in Elmira, NY. Brian was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a member of the Pine City Sportsman’s Club.

Brian is survived by his wife Felicia, his children: Mitchell (Amy) Gleckner of Pine City, NY, Angela (Christa Ryan) Gleckner and Brian B. (Katlyn) Bar, both of Elmira, 7 granddaughters, 2 grandsons, 2 great granddaughters, sister Carol A. (Frank) Webster of Spring Hope, NC, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters Debbie Gallagher and Linda Wilson.

Family and friends are welcome to call from 5:00-6:00 PM on Friday, January 6, 2023 at the Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street Wellsburg, NY. The memorial service to honor Brian’s life will be held at the conclusion of the visitation at 6:00 PM on Friday January 6th at the funeral home with Pastor Micky Cavanaugh officiating.
