Charles A Tinkham
February 24, 1931 — April 19, 2015
Charles A. Tinkham, 84, of Centerville, PA, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at ELCOR in Horseheads, NY. He was born on February 24, 1931 in Conway, PA, son of the late Victor R. and Madelene (Mandaville) Tinkham. Chuck was a Korean War veteran, serving in the US Navy. He was also a US Coast Guard veteran, and retired from National Steel Corporation in Detroit, MI where he was a paramedic. Chuck was also a member of the Ridgebury Sportsman’s Club.
Chuck is survived by his grandchildren John Tinkham and Ronnie Brandt, his great grandchildren: Robert Jr., Mercedes, Jordan, and Brooklyn, and niece and nephews Esther (John) Bresett, Charles and Michael Barsavage. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Patricia Ann Pearson, and his sister Clara M. Barsavage.
Services for Charles A. Tinkham will be private at the convenience of his family. The Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street Wellsburg, NY, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
