Daniel John Rao

Daniel John Rao, 65, of Wellsburg, NY passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2026 at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. He was the loving husband of Melissa A. (Buffington) Rao. Danny was born in Piscataway, NJ, son of the late John and Blanche Rao. He recently retired from The Cabinet Works in Waverly, NY where he was a Maintenance Technician. Danny enjoyed traveling, especially to Outer Banks, NC, camping, fishing, and shelling.

Danny is survived by wife Melissa, in-laws John and Judith Buffington of West Chester, PA, beloved dogs Toby and Pepper, as well as some extended family.
