Gary L. Bennett

Gary L. Bennett, 67, of Lowman, NY, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA.
Gary was born on December 9, 1947 in Elmira, NY son of the late Henry and June (Zettlemoyer) Bennett. He was a graduate of Waverly High School, Class of 1968. Gary was a member of the Horseheads, NY American Legion and the American Legion Riders Club, was a member of both the Waverly and Spencer VFWs, enjoyed motorcycle riding and belonged to several other riding clubs, and was a member of the Ridgebury Sportsman’s Club.
Gary is survived by his son Shawn (Lisa) Bennett of Lockwood, NY, his grandchildren Zachary and Brooke Bennett, his companion Nancy L. Marmor of Lowman, NY, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Gary’s wishes were that there will be no services. The Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street Wellsburg, NY has been entrusted with the cremation.
