Jackie Lee (Olmsted) Nichols

Jackie Lee (Olmsted) Nichols, Age 68, Passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at the Robert Packer Hospital following a lengthy illness. Jackie was born on July 12, 1953, in Waverly, NY daughter of the late Burgess & Rosalie (Kenish) Olmstead. She was retired from the Ithaca Police Department where she was employed as a dispatcher for many years. She also worked at Ithaca College as a dispatcher for the Campus Police Department. I her spare time she enjoyed the outdoors, sewing, spending time with her loving family, and visiting Tioga Downs Casino.

Surviving are two daughters, Janette Bello of Elmira, NY, Sally Avery of Oswego, NY, her loving grandchildren, Chelsea Lee, Dani Rose, Jailyn Patience and Jillian Rosalee, four sisters, Diana Poole of Auburn, NY, Rosanne Bailey of California, Meg Olmsted of Candor, NY, Patty Emerson of California, a brother, Paul Olmsted of Washington State, several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Jackie was predeceased by her parents, brothers, Chuck Pompelli, Bob Pompelli, and a special aunt Annie Kenish.

Abiding with Jackie’s wishes there will be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street, Wellsburg, NY 14894.
