Jacqueline (Farr) McMann, 83, of Springfield Township, Bradford County, PA, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Twin Oaks Personal Care Home in Granville, PA with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late John McMann who passed away in 1990. The couple married July 7, 1951 and had 39 happy years together.
Jacqueline was born on November 6, 1931 in Corning, NY, daughter of the late Henry and Gladys (Leonard) Farr. She was a catalog designer for Paper Magic in Troy, PA for many years. Jacqueline was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Big Flats, NY, and was also a member of the Troy Bowling League and the Rebekahs.
Jacqueline is survived by her children: John (Irene) McMann of Almond, NY, Rebecca (Greg) Levanski of Needen, MA, James McMann of Ithaca, NY, and Faith DePew of Springfield Township, PA, her grandchildren Noah (Jennifer) DePew and Thadeus DePew, her great grandchildren: Lillian DePew, Emily DePew, Thadeus DePew, Tucker DePew, soon to be Cire’ DePew her sisters Ann Potter of Horseheads, NY and Judy Lampman of Watkins Glen, NY, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John, and long-time companion H. Phil Turner.
Family and friends are welcome to gather at 12:00 noon on Monday, July 27, 2015 at the Bentley Creek Cemetery, on the Berwick Turnpike in Bentley Creek, PA for the graveside service to honor Jacqueline’s life with her pastor, Rev. Rick Price officiating.
