Jeffrey Lee Elston

Jeffrey Lee Elston, known to family and friends as Jeff, passed away at his home, surrounded by his beloved wife and daughters on February 27, 2026, at the age of 70. Born on March 10, 1955, in Elmira, NY, Jeff lived a life full of love, laughter, and adventure.

Jeff's career as a butcher saw him working in several area supermarkets, where he was respected for his skill and dedication. Outside of work, he was a man of many passions. He loved hunting and cooking, finding great joy in preparing meals for his loved ones. Riding ATVs in the woods was one of his favorite pastimes, as was farming and gardening. Jeff was well-known for hosting pig roasts for family and friends, sharing his love of food and community. He delighted in giving pony and tractor rides to children, creating cherished memories for all involved.

Preceded in death by his parents, John and Jean Elston; his brother and sister-in-law, John and Nancy; brothers-in-law Jack, Jerry, George, Al, and Greg; nephews Aaron and Chris; and some good friends, Jeff is now reunited with those who went before him.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 36 years, Lisa; his beloved daughters Jenny, Jill, and Gina; and his special grandson, Lucas. Jeff also leaves behind his surrogate son and daughter-in-law, Kyle and Nicky; sisters Linda, Judy, Nora, Diane (Jim), and Merry; brothers-in-law Norm, Lary, Mike, Dominic (Debbie), Tony (Nadine), Mickey; and sister-in-law Anita. His cherished Wilawana Road family, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, pets, and countless dear friends, will forever hold Jeff in their hearts.

In accordance with Jeff's wishes, there will be no formal funeral services. Instead, a celebration of his life will be held at a later date, where all are invited to eat, share memories, and, in Jeff's words, "Have one more like friends." The Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. Wellsburg, NY, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
