Joseph L. Brewer

Joseph L. Brewer, Age 66, formerly of Bentley Creek and Ridgebury, PA passed away Thursday, August 10, 2017 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center, Elmira, NY. Joe was born March 24, 1951 in Elmira, NY son of the late Joseph and Alice (Andrews) Brewer. Joe attended SRU high school and was employed by DuraBuilt for 35 years. He enjoyed hunting and had previously run demolition derby cars and raced stockcars at Chemung Raceway.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Kandi Jo (Jason) Kellogg of Athens, step-daughter, Lori (John Glisson) VanNess of Milan, his sister Rose Mary Seeley of Pine City, two grandsons, Dalton Freeman and Curtis Kellogg both of Athens, two brother-in-laws, Larry O’Brien of Horseheads, NY, Glen Frank of Millerton, several nieces and nephews also survive.
He was predeceased by his parents, three sisters, Agnes O’Brien, Judy Brewer, Erma Frank and a brother-in-law, Jonas Seeley.
