May 10, 1937 — December 14, 2016
Joy S Dixon, 79, of Wellsburg, NY passed away December 14, 2016 following a long battle with Alzheimer's. Joy is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ronald Guy Dixon; daughters, Ronda Brown and Shari (Jerry) Picarazzi; her grandchildren, Shane Smithmen, Nathan and Kyle Dixon, Shayla Hurd and 5 great grandchildren. Joy retired from the Elmira City School District and is the former owner of A Touch of Country. She was a member of the Women's Auxiliary Wellsburg Volunteer Fire Department and an avid sportswoman.
Family and friends are invited to gather from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm, Friday, December 16, 2016 at Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street, Wellsburg, NY. A memorial service will follow the calling hours at 6:30 pm with Pastor Tom Blackall officiating.
