Kathryn R. (Garrett) Robbins

Kathryn R. Robbins, Age 89, passed away Monday, April 18, 2016 at the Robert Packer Hospital. Kathryn was born September 1, 1926 in Salamanca, NY daughter of the late George & Katherine (Gargan) Garrett and was a graduate of Salamanca High School. For many years Kathryn and her husband Charles “Keith” Robbins worked side by side, they owned and operated the Finger Lakes Motel and the Queen Catherine Motel prior to their retirement. She was a communicant of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Bentley Creek and a member of the Alter & Rosary Society. She found great joy in her family and the time spent with her children and grandchildren she also was an avid reader and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband Keith Robbins of Wellsburg, NY, son and daughter-in-law, Bradley & Sandra Marks of FL, three brothers, James, John and Robert Garrett of AZ, 13 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Kathryn was predeceased by her parents, a sister, Margaret McFarland, a brother, George Garrett and her loving daughter Kathleen Cadek.

Family and friends are invited to call from 5 to 6 PM, Friday, April 22, 2016 at the Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street, Wellsburg, NY. Her service will be held following calling hours at 6:00 PM at the funeral home with Fr. Scott Kubinski officiating. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Big Pond, PA.
