Lawrence R. Phillips

Lawrence R. Phillips, 36, of Wellsburg, NY, passed away at home on Tuesday, February 27, 2018.  He was born on August 9, 1981 in Elmira, NY, son of Chris A. and Mona R. (Hurd) Phillips.  He was a member of both the Wellsburg and Ridgebury Fire Departments, and was an avid NASCAR fan with Kevin Harvick being his favorite driver.

Lawrence is survived by his loving family. His family includes his parents Chris and Mona, his grandmother Donna Phillips of Bentley Creek, PA his uncles and aunts; Lawrence E. Phillips of Wellsburg, Rick and Cheryl Hurd of Wellsburg, Arlene and Jack Toby of Southport, NY, Gayle and Merle Carpenter of Elmira, NY, Dorene and Mike Johnson of Elmira, along with several cousins and close friends.

A memorial service to honor Lawrence’s life will be held at a later date. The Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street Wellsburg, NY has been trusted with the arrangements.
