Marjorie S. Cahill

Marjorie S. Cahill, Age 86, of Kernersville, NC passed away at the home of her daughter in Bentley Creek on Sunday, September 10, 2017. Marjorie was born December 13, 1930 in Ulster daughter of the late Mark and Irene (King) Swanhart. She was a Secretary for the SRU School District and the Tax Collector for many years prior to her retirement. Marjorie enjoyed nature and was an environmentalist and she loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her four daughters, Karin A. and James O’Brien, Sr. of Binghamton, NY, Sharon B. and David Warner of Sayre, Judy Stevens and Tim Watkins of Bentley Creek, , Joanne and William R. Coles, Jr. of Carthage, NC, eight grandchildren, James, Jr., Jeffrey, Jennifer O’Brien, Michelle Warner, Jonathan Miller, Adam, Daniel, Eric Coles, seventeen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and friends.
Marjorie was predeceased by her parents and her husband Joseph Cahill.
It was Marjorie’s wishes that services be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street, Wellsburg, NY 14894.
