Mary Kathleen Brand

Mary (Kathy) Brand, 69, of Lakeville, PA passed away peacefully on December 20, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 14, 1956 in Elmira, NY, to the late Richard A. and Marlene (Darrow) Whitson. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Shirley Morrow and brother in law, Butch Drugg. She was a graduate of Southside High School. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. In her earlier years she enjoyed bowling, bingo, and traveling to Atlantic City with her mother and sisters. She enjoyed camping with her husband, children and grandchildren along with her yearly trips to Florida with her husband. She had the most contagious laugh and beautiful smile. The love she had for her children, grandchildren and great grandchild was unmeasurable. She is survived by Christopher R. Brand, her loving husband of 27 years. She is also survived by daughters, Shannon Swanger, Ashley Swanger, of Elmira, NY, and Tori Ritter of St. Petersburg, FL; stepchildren, Jennifer Brand of Woodville, Al, Elizabeth (Jon) Brewer, of Elmira, NY, Alex Brand, of Honesdale, PA and Kayla (Steven) Schariest of Hawley, PA; siblings, Jerry Darrow of Elmira, NY, Michael Whitson, of Elmira, NY

Marlene Drugg, of Canastota, NY, Sherry and Jack Morrison, of Whitsett, NC, Shelly and Bill VanWagner, of Cookeville, TN, Susan and Michael Burrell, of Elmira, NY, George and Wendy Whitson, Wellsburg, NY, brother in law Jack Morrow, of Elmira, NY. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins along with her beloved seventeen grandchildren and great grandchild.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 10:00 AM to Noon on Monday, December 29, 2025, at the Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main St. Wellsburg, NY. Interment will follow and take place in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, where Mary will be laid to rest.
