Melissa A. "Missy" (Cadek) Bernas

Melissa A. “Missy” Bernas, Age 55, passed away very unexpectedly on Monday, July 25, 2022 at the Robert Packer Hospital. She was born April 26, 1967 in Elmira daughter of Franklin and the late Kathleen (Marks) Cadek. Following graduation from high school she attended nursing school and was employed at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center as a Child Life Specialist. Missy enjoyed spending her time and enjoying life at the lake and with her loving family and many friends.

Survivors include her son Garrett Bernas of Elmira Heights, NY, her loving companion, Bill Middleton of Springfield Township, PA, a sister and brother in law, Jennifer & Gordon Mallory of Wellsburg, NY, her niece Katelyn & Andrew Lewis of Athens, PA, great nephew, Axel Lewis of Athens, PA and her previous husband David Bernas of Elmira, NY.

Missy was predeceased by her mother Kathleen (Marks) Cadek.
