Milford L. Doland

Milford L. Doland, Age 87, of Wellsburg, NY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at the Robert Packer Hospital. Milford was born December 15, 1934, in Elmira, NY son of the late Helen J. (Thetgee) Smith and Francis H. Smith. He was married to the former C. Ann (Springer) Doland and enjoyed their many years together. Milford was retired from Thatcher/Anchor Glass where he worked as a forklift driver. In his spare time, he worked on his 1936 Ford, enjoyed old cars and was a member of the Twin Tiers Vintage Car Club. Milford also dedicated many hours to the Ashland Cemetery mowing and weeding, for which the Cemetery Association is forever grateful.

Survivors include his loving wife Ann Doland of Wellsburg, two daughters, Carol J. Doland of Wellsburg, Darlene F. (Robert) Sowers of Pine City, grandchildren, Tristan Michael Stougton, Jamee Elizabeth Skinkle, Cody William Stoughton, great-grandsons, Aaron Skinkle, Ethan Skinkle, Colton Skinkle, and many friends.

He was predeceased by his parents and a daughter Janet Lee Stoughton.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Roberts Funeral Home, Inc., 279 Main Street, Wellsburg, NY 14894. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Ashland Cemetery.
