Randy Lee Robinson

Randy Lee Robinson, 63, of Bentley Creek, PA, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at the Robert Packer Hospital following an extended illness.

Randy was born on June 1, 1952 in Sayre, PA, son of the late Leland and Vivian (Chamberlain) Robinson.  Randy graduated from S.R.U. Joint High School, class of 1970, where he met his high school sweetheart Karen (Lenox) Robinson.  They were married on December 14, 1974 and had two sons; Brandon Lee Robinson and Kurtis Ryan Robinson.  Besides his wife and sons, Randy is survived by his treasured grandson Holden Lee Robinson, siblings Rhonda Robinson, Dale (Theresa) Robinson, and Melisa Robinson, brothers and sisters-in-law Gary (Shirley) Lenox, Jeff (Lisa) Lenox, and Elizabeth Baker.  Randy was preceded in death by his parents, and grandparents Harry and Dorothy (Dunbar) Chamberlain and Florence (Wright) Ayres, as well as father-in-law Edward Lenox, mother-in-law Shirley (Davidson) Lenox, sister in law Diana (Lenox) Smith, along with brothers in law Duane Lenox and David Baker. He also leaves behind cherished aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Randy dedicated his working career to Chemung Contracting Corp. and retired as a heavy equipment operator in 2006. He was a life member of the Ridgebury Sportsmen’s Club.  His hobbies included maple syrup production (member of the Pennsylvania Syrup Association), gardening, and enjoying time on his John Deere equipment, as well as playing a competitive game of cards. He also enjoyed time with family and friends.

Family and friends are welcome to call from 4:00-6:00 PM on Friday, May 27, 2016 at the Bentley Creek Wesleyan Church 13255 Berwick Turnpike, Gillett, PA.  The memorial service to honor Randy’s life will be held at the end of the visitation at 6:00 PM on May 27th at the church with pastor, Rev. Robert Wuethrich, officiating.  Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.  The Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street Wellsburg, NY has been entrusted with the arrangements.
