Rexford "Mike" "Bopie" Judson

Rexford “Mike” “Bopie” Judson, Age 78, of Wellsburg, NY went home to his heavenly father on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Robert Packer Hospital with his loving family at his side.
Mike was born December 7, 1936 in Elmira son of the late LaRue “Red” and Clarice Isabelle (Passmore) Judson. He was married to the former Barbara E. Lusk on June 10, 1966 and celebrated 48 years of marriage. Mike was employed as Service Manager at Elm Chevrolet for many years and even worked part-time there following his “official” retirement.
Mike was a member of the Elmira Wesleyan Church and enjoyed watching NASCAR along with traveling to the local stock car races. He was a dedicated family man and loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include his loving wife Barbara E. Judson of Wellsburg, his children, Glenda Worden of Chemung, Dennis (Lynn) Judson of Pittsford, NY, Ellen (Ray) Hodge of Wellsburg, Dan (Karen) Judson of Elmira, Izzy (Mike) Kellogg of Waverly, 13 grandchildren, Danielle (Eric) Folk, Matt (Kim Danna) Balmer, Cathleen (Jim) DeGrazia, Mallory (Dan) Eberly, Brianna (Alex Dougherty) Judson, Alyssa (Kory) Barnhart, Jacqui (J.T.) Judson, Zak Judson, Morgaan Judson, Lucas Kellogg, Nathan Kellogg, Audrey Kellogg and Tiffany Worden, five great-grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, a brother, Thomas (MaryLou) Judson of Newark Valley, NY, sister-in-law, Debie (Jim) Danna of Elmira, brother-in-law, Jim (Marilyn) Lusk of Lake Havasu City, AZ, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mike was predeceased by his parents, three brothers, Pat, Phillip, John Judson and a sister Nancy Richter.
Family and friends are invited to call Friday, April 10, 2015 from 4 to 8 PM at the Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street, Wellsburg. Mike’s funeral service will be held 12:30 PM Saturday, April 11, 2015 at the Elmira Wesleyan Church, 1100 South Main Street, Elmira, NY with Pastor Larry Burke officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
In Lieu of flowers memorials in Mike’s Memory may be made to the Elmira Animal Shelter, 842 Linden Place Ext. Elmira, NY 14901, or to the Animal Care Sanctuary, 353 Sanctuary Hill Lane, East Smithfield, PA 18817.
