Robert H. "Buzz" Fraley
March 10, 1917 — March 12, 2014
WELLSBURG- Robert Hamilton ("Buzz") Fraley passed away on March 12, 2014, he just turned 97 years old.
He was born in Nichols, New York on March 10, 1917 to Sumner M. Fraley and Mary Berdena Bentley Fraley.
He was owner of Fraley's Amusement Park in North Waverly, New York. He also played in Fraley's Band for
many years prior to helping found Fraley's Amusement Park.
He passed away peacefully at Darway Elder Care in Forksville, Pa.
He leaves his wife, the former Joyce Hendrickson at home, his daughter, Helen Stowell, of Dunedin, Florida;
His son William (Bill) Fraley of Elbert, Colorado; a son, John (Jerry) Doak who predeceased him in 1995.
He leaves 5 grandchildren, and 7 Great-grandchildren. Also, many nieces and nephews.
He will be interred at the convenience of the family. The Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street Wellsburg, NY has been entrusted with the arrangements.
