Ronald G. Dixon

Ronald G. Dixon, Age 86, of Comfort Hill Road, Wellsburg passed away at home on Monday, August 1, 2022. Ron was born May 20, 1936, in Austinville, PA son of the late Ralph and Lucille (Soper) Dixon. He was a self-employed contractor and in his spare time loved hunting and fishing. Ron was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Beagle Club and served on the school board. He enjoyed his daily visit to the Wellsburg diner and will be deeply missed by his many friends there.

Ron is survived by his two daughters, Shari & Jerry Picarazzi of Wellsburg, Rhonda Brown of Tennessee,  a brother Ben Dixon of Elmira,  four grandchildren, Shayla (Jeremy) Hurd, Shane Smithman, Kyle & Katherine Dixon, Nathan Dixon, ten great-grandchildren, Bryce, Mesa, Forrest, Zac, Jordan, Tyler, Dax, Maya, Freya, Kara,  many nieces, nephews and friends.

Ron was predeceased by his loving wife Joy E. (Smith) Dixon on December 14, 2016.
