Samuel W. McNett, 89, of Springfield, PA, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the Golden Living Center in Tunkhannock, PA. Sam was born on June 9, 1924 in Williamsport, PA, son of the late Archie and Alma (Edler) McNett. He was a graduate of Troy High School and was a World War II veteran. Sam was a Machinist for IBM in Owego, NY until he retired in 1981. His loving family survives him. As Sam has requested, there will be no services. The Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street Wellsburg, NY has been entrusted with the arrangements.
