WELLSBURG, NY - Thelma I. (Talada) VanDuzer Nichols, 84 of Leesburg, FL, formerly of Sayre PA, passed away Tuesday April, 1, 2014 in Florida. Thelma was born April 29, 1929 in Athens, PA daughter of the late Harry and Carrie (Spaulding) Talada. Thelma was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed time spent with her family.
Survivors include her daughters, Dianna (Jack) Weber, Bonnie VanDuzer, Leona (Dale) Chandler and Paula VanDuzer, Shirley VanDuzer & Robert Stachan, Jr., son-in-law, Raymond Fraboni, sisters, Clara Cole, Charlotte Rowe, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, niece, nephews, friends and her beloved service dog Nikki.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husbands, Henry L. "Roy" VanDuzer and Richard L. Nichols and her daughter Connie Fraboni.
Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, April 7, 2014 from 10 AM to 12 PM at the Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street, Wellsburg, NY. Thelma's funeral will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 12 PM with Reverend William Vallet of the Pennsylvania Avenue United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Tioga Point Cemetery Athens, PA.
