Tracy E. Sivers, Jr., of Elmira, NY, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, lost his fight to cancer on July 15, 2026, at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA, at the age of 72. Born on March 10, 1954, in Elmira, NY, Tracy lived a fulfilling life surrounded by family and friends.
Tracy dedicated his career to Kennedy Valve in Elmira, NY, where he retired as a respected foreman. His work ethic and commitment left a lasting impression on both colleagues and friends.
Beyond his professional life, Tracy was passionate about many interests. He found great joy riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and spent countless peaceful days fishing and hunting. Most importantly, Tracy treasured moments spent with his family and friends, finding immense happiness in watching his grandchildren play sports and grow.
Tracy is preceded in death by his parents, Tracy E. and Edith (Baker) Sivers, Sr., brother Donald Sivers, and sister Lela Faber.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Barbara A. (Hissin) Cullen, who shared a lifetime of memories with him. His legacy lives on through his children: Faye (Eric) Clark of Binghamton, NY; Richard (Jackie) Peaslee of Lowman, NY; Victoria (William) Myers of Waverly, NY; Wade (Brandy) Peaslee of Sayre, PA; and Tracy Hughes of New York. Tracy was also a father figure to loved ones Brian Rounsville of Chemung, NY, and Tara Murphy of Long Island, NY. He will be deeply missed by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a soon-to-be-born great-great-granddaughter. Tracy is also survived by his brother, Gilbert Sivers of Binghamton, NY, and sister, Grace Gee of Ithaca, NY, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life is planned for a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember Tracy’s vibrant spirit and the love he shared with those around him. Roberts Funeral Home, Inc., 279 Main St., Wellsburg, NY has been entrusted with the arrangements.
