Virginia A. Conte

Virginia A. (Daniels) Conte, Age 89, formerly of Mosherville and Elmira, NY passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015 at the Robert Packer Hospital. Virginia was born December 5, 1925 in Ridgebury Township, PA daughter of the late William and Alice (Clark) Daniels. She was previously employed at Westinghouse where she worked as an inspector and prior to that at St. Joseph’s Hospital in the laundry department. Her main job was being a faithful wife and homemaker with her two husbands. She enjoyed cooking and canning relish, pickles, spaghetti sauce, peaches and pears. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include a sister, Pearl Spinney of Mosherville, brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Ruth Daniels of Sayre, a special niece, Sharon Tuning of Elmira, special nephews, James and David Vrooman both of Daggett, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Virginia was predeceased by her parents, husbands, Henry Terwilliger and Lew Conte, a sister Myrtle Vrooman and her brother Walter Daniels.
It was Virginia’s wishes to be laid to rest in Ashland Cemetery, Wellsburg, NY. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street, Wellsburg, NY 14894.
