Ward L. "Tim" Saunders

Ward L. “Tim” Saunders, 78, of Lowman, NY passed away on Monday, May 30, 2022 at his home. He was the loving husband of the late Susan J. (Comstock) Saunders who passed away on April 13, 2014. The couple married September 29, 1962 and had 51 happy years together.

Tim was born on August 25, 1943 on the family farm in Lowman, son of the late Ward L. and Julia L. (Lowman) Saunders, Sr. He worked at American La France, was a farmer his whole life and for many years he ran a produce stand. He was Christian by faith.

Tim is survived by his daughter Tammy (Jim) Pepin of Cohocton, NY, his grandchildren: Kiestin (Casey) Hoffman and Brandon Pepin, his great grandchildren: Blake, Caleb, and Haylee Hoffman, his sisters Judy (Jim) Ripley and Shirley Gleockner, along with several nieces and nephews.  Tim was preceded in death by his parents, wife Susan, son Jody Saunders, and brothers Jerry and Donny Saunders.

Services will be private and at the convenience of Tim’s family.  The Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street Wellsburg, NY, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
