Wayne Alan Waite

Wayne Alan Waite, 67, of Bentley Creek, PA, passed away on March 14, 2020 at the Robert Packer Hospital.

Wayne was born on August 6, 1952 in Sayre, PA, son of the late Robert H. and Mary M. (Hayes) Waite. He was a line production worker for Toshiba until the plant closed. Wayne was a member of the Bentley Creek Wesleyan Church, was in charge of their CD and DVD ministry, and was the drummer for the church’s praise band. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Wayne is survived by his children: Norman Waite of Ithaca, NY, Rebekah (Edward) Waite-Brumley of Port Orange, FL, Brad (Katie) Waite of Bentley Creek, PA, and Wayne R. Waite of Waverly, NY, his grandchildren: Keira Brumley, Wil Brumley, Kaylin Brumley, Robert Waite, and Benjamin Waite, along with his sister Sharon and his wife Barbara (Seeley) Waite of Waverly, NY. He was preceded in death his parents and his three sisters.

The memorial service to honor Wayne’s life will be held at a later date at the Bentley Creek Wesleyan Church. The Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. Wellsburg, NY has been entrusted with the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Bentley Creek Wesleyan Church 13255 Berwick Turnpike, Gillett, PA.
