William John Andrews

William John “Bill” Andrews, 37, of Cayuta, NY, passed away after an accident on Sunday, September 4, 2016.  He was the loving husband of Sarah Hope (Thomson) Andrews.  The couple married July 26, 2003 and had 13 happy years together.

Bill was born on July 28, 1979 in Ithaca, NY, son of Jean Marie (Pearson) Andrews of Breesport, NY, and the late William Lee Andrews. He was a 1998 graduate of South Side High School in Elmira and was Baptist by faith.  Bill enjoyed hunting and fishing, listening to audio books to relax, and spending time with family and friends.

Bill is survived by his wife Sarah, his mother Jean, his son William Pierce Andrews at home, his sister Christina (Randy) Elwell of Troupsburg, NY, his mother-in-law Hollis Thomson of Cayuta, NY, Deborah and Dennis Peck and their family, who were more like family than friends to Bill, along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Bill was preceded in death by his father.

Family and friends are welcome to call from 2:00-3:00 pm on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at the Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street Wellsburg, NY.  The memorial service to honor Bill’s life will be held at the conclusion of the visitation at 3:00 pm on Sunday, September 11th at the funeral home.
