Alyene Ruth (Kehoe) Jenkins

Alyene Ruth (Kehoe) Jenkins, 93, of Cato, NY, formerly of Wellsburg, NY passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at the Auburn Community Hospital in Auburn, NY.

Alyene was born on April 19, 1929 in Elmira, NY, daughter of the late Harold C. and Velma May (Sautter) Kehoe. She was a Real Estate Broker for Blauvelt Reality. Alyene was a member of the Horseheads Moose, Southport Kiwanis, Wellsburg Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, and Wellsburg Historical Society. She was on the Brand Park Committee and while living in Florida attended the Methodist Church of Englewood.

Alyene is survived by her daughters Sandra (George) Ackerman of Wellsburg and Ruth Pipher of Cato, 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren, sister Marilyn Rathbun, and special friend Sandy Scida. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard Jenkins, son Raymond “Butch” Davies, sister Barbara Hetherton, and brothers Neil and John Kehoe.  

Family and friends are welcome to call from 1:00-2:00 PM on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at the Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street Wellsburg, NY. The funeral service to honor Alyene’s life will be held at the conclusion of the viewing at 2:00 PM on Sunday April 2nd at the funeral home with Pastor Faith Bogdan of the Wellsburg Community Church officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of Alyene’s family in the Fitzsimmons Cemetery.
