Bryon Alfred Hostrander

Bryon Alfred Hostrander, 63, of Corning, NY passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY. He was the loving husband of Nancy Ann (Kimber) Hostrander. The couple married in 1982 and had over 38 happy years together.

Bryon was born on October 22, 1957 in Elmira, son of the late Alfred and Lily (Francisco) Hostrander. He was employed for over 20 years at Corelle Brands in Corning. Bryon was a huge Green Bay Packers fan, enjoyed his lottery scratch offs, and was famous for the breads he baked. He was the Tickle Monster to his kids and grandkids, and was the best husband, father, and Papa to his family.

Bryon is survived by his loving wife Nancy, his son Bryon (AJ) Hostrander, his daughter Crystal (Larry) Horton, grandchildren: Lily, Zoey, Jac, and Brayson, his sisters Rebecca Dieterle and Lucinda Hale, brothers Donald (Christine) Hostrander and Joe (Sandy) Hostrander, sister-in-law Patty Hostrander, along with many other loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents along with his brothers Tom and Roland Hostrander.

Bryon’s family is planning a celebration of his life this summer. The Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street, Wellsburg, NY has been trusted with the arrangements.
