Daniel Robert Bryan

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daniel Robert Bryan, known to many as Dan, of East Smithfield, PA, peacefully left this world on April 3, 2024, in Sayre, PA. He was born on November 26, 1961, in Towanda, PA, making him 62 years old at the time of his passing.

Dan devoted his life to his work, having been the owner and operator of Bryan's Meat Cutting & Country Butcher Shop. He was truly passionate about the meat processing business and found great joy in his profession. Outside of work, his interests included his love for motorcycles, and made many trips to Bike Week in Daytona Beach, Florida, and Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota. He cherished spending quality time with his beloved family and friends.

Throughout his life, Dan was deeply involved in various organizations and groups. He was a founding partner of Bryan's Family Farm, a member of the Pennsylvania Meat Processors Association, and a proud supporter of 4H, FFA, and the village of East Smithfield. He was always sociable, never knowing a stranger, and enjoyed engaging in conversations with everyone he met.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 35 years, Dawn Bryan, his sons Kyle J. (Kara) Stage, Nicholas D. (Janice) Bryan, and Matthew W. Bryan (Shelby Sullivan), as well as his cherished grandchildren Danielle, Paul, and Paisleigh. He is also survived by his brother William Bryan and sister Deborah (Robert) Strobridge, both of East Smithfield. He is preceded in death by his parents, William A. and Becky Bryan, and his sisters Marie Vandermark and Rose Bryan, along with brother-in-law Jim Finnerty.

A Celebration of Life for Dan will be held at a later date. Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. at 279 Main St. Wellsburg, NY has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements. Dan will be dearly missed by all who knew him, and his memory will forever remain in the hearts of those whose lives he touched.
