Dennis W. Kulish, Age, 77, of Ridgebury Township passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at the Robert Packer Hospital. Dennis was born on November 24, 1945, in Bridgeport, CT son of the late Francis & Apolonia “Pearl” (Barnak) Kulish. Following graduation from high school Dennis attended two years of college and then went to work with his father in their family aluminum foundry. Dennis and former Julia A. Lupo were married on January 21, 1967, and celebrated 56 years together.
Dennis worked on many projects during his career, he designed and made parts for the Manhattan Project while working with his father from the 1940’s until 1974 in Bridgeport CT. In 1974 he moved to Northern Pennsylvania where he started his own foundry, built his shop and personal home with Julia in Bradford County. Dennis manufactured many different products in his shop, some of which were internal parts for crash test dummies that the auto industry uses to keep all drivers safe, after 51 years he retired in 2018.
Dennis was a member of the Ridgebury Sportsman Club, Sons & Daughters of Italy in Sayre, PA and former member of the Foundrymen’s Association.
Surviving is his wife of 56 years Julia A. Kulish of Ridgebury Township, PA, cousins and many friends.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers David Kulish and Richard Kulish.
Family and friends are invited to a graveside service that will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at the Hanlon Hill Cemetery, Ridgebury Township, PA. Memorials in Dennis’ memory may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, KA, Kansas, 66675-8516.
