Douglas Parsons Obituary

Douglas Mark Parsons, 58, Elmira, NY, passed away at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. He was the adopted son of the late Richard & Sherry (Shanks) Parsons. He was a graduate of Elmira City Schools and was employed as a Union Sheet Metal Worker until his health declined. Mark as he was affectionately known enjoyed fishing, sprint stock car racing and had a knack to build anything for anyone when needed. He will be missed by his family and friends.

Mark is survived by two sons, Jared (Cheyanne Brown) Parsons of Towanda, PA, Travis Parsons of Oxford MS, a brother Scott (Kathy) Parsons of Millerton, PA, and many friends.

Mark was predeceased by his parents and a son Nicholas Parsons.

It was Mark’s wishes that services be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street, Wellsburg, NY 14894.
