Obituary
Jeannie Middendorf, of Waverly, NY, beloved daughter, sister, and mother, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2023, at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. She was born on July 4, 1978, in Levittown, PA, making her 44 years old at the time of her passing.
Jeannie had a deep passion for culinary arts and pursued her dreams by graduating from the Culinary Arts Institute in Pittsburgh, PA. As a talented chef, she found immense joy in cooking and delighted in sharing her creations with others.
Throughout her life, Jeannie faced numerous health challenges. Diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the tender age of 4, she displayed incredible resilience in managing her condition. She underwent a life-saving kidney and pancreas transplant, which sadly failed after a decade. Despite these setbacks, she continued to fight valiantly for her health and cherished every moment of her life.
Jeannie's warm and loving presence will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her parents, Bill and Jean Runner, her devoted sister Lisa (Runner) Bydairk, and her adoring son Evan Middendorf who she considered the most precious gift in her life.
In addition to her family, Jeannie had a deep affection for her furry companions, including her beloved dogs Brody, Smeagle, and Bella, as well as her cherished cats.
