Patricia Ann (Wood) Freeman

Patricia Ann (Wood) Freeman, 71, of Bentley Creek, PA, passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre.  She was the loving wife of Eugene H. “Gene” Freeman. The couple married January 21, 1967 and had 51 happy years together.

Pat was born on April 17, 1947 in Waverly, NY, daughter of the late Merton and Pauline (Bartlett) Wood. She was a 1965 SRU graduate and enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers, line dancing, and cooking, especially for family gatherings.

Pat is survived by her husband Gene, her son Gregory (Melody) Freeman, her grandchildren: Jennifer and Jeffrey Freeman, her step-grandchildren Richard and Allen Kintz, her siblings: Virginia (Bill) Guinup, Raymond Wood, James (Mary Lee) Wood, William (Donna) Wood, Susan (Steve) Pearl, along with many nieces and nephews.  Pat was preceded in death by her parents, her son Jeffrey Freeman, her sister-in-law Anne Marie Wood, her sisters: Marion (Elmer) Feathers, Betty (Willis) Edger, Carolyn Wood, step-brothers Francis, Herman, and Fred Wood.

Family and friends are welcome to call from 2:00-4:00 PM on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street Wellsburg, NY.  The memorial service to honor Pat’s life will be held at the conclusion of the visitation at 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 15th at the funeral home
